we have 2 days of public holidays for Chinese New Year, so mama and babah took additional 3 days leaves. So we balik kampung last week on Saturday, Feb 13 and returned a week after on Saturday.. to save costs, we travelled by car, pity babah he hasn't recovered from sore eyes but luckily the weather wasn't that hot
that night before we leave.. me and adeeb went to sleep early, we were so excited, this is adeeb's first journey home by road.. it's a long way I told him.. and a lot of things to see.. just get well prepared so that we won't sleep all the way home..
it was 6.45 am and we were ready to go..
look at Adeeb, he was smartly dressed.. hopefully he won't pee on that khaki.. hehe
ok, now we are ready to go.. mama said and it was already 7.30am!!

Not far from Sibu, babah stopped at this magnificent temple..

so I went to the main entrance..
whoaaa! so huge lah babah.. I wanted to explore, but mama said we still had a long way to go.. hmmm.. maybe next time

after 15 minutes.. we hit the road again.. I warned Adeeb not to sing the same song again..
who said we don't have to pay toll in Sarawak? Here at Lanang Bridge, we have to pay RM3.. babah said this could be a PFI project, that;s why we have to pay to use it
this is Sebangkoi Rest Stop.. but we passed.. mama said next stop will be Layar in Betong
Kuching is still far away.. zzzzz
adeeb was excited.. are we there yet mama? he asked..
we saw 3 accidents along the way.. all self-accidents and this is one of them..

we finally reached Serian at 4 pm, we planned to drop by at Kak Yani's house but they were not at home.. huhu! so we have another 60 km to go from here..
