I love KL, who doesn't? When I was staying in Bintulu, KL was just a distant city I could only see on TV, now that I am here staying on the outskirt of this big city, why not enjoy exploring it while we still can, right? We'll be returning to Bintulu probably in a year's time. Hmm... don't get me wrong, I love Bintulu, in fact I think every small town has character, be it Betong in Sarawak or Bentong, in Pahang, they have something to offer. For the uninitiated, currently Bintulu is home to the world's largest liquefied natural gas production facility on a single site, with an annual production of 23 million tonnes! If you calculate it in kilograms, that would mean trillions, right babah? Or need I mention to you that it has the first Gas To Liquid plant operated by Shell MDS? With 95% of the profit goes to Federal Government coffers, I can proudly declare that, my hometown plays very very important part in building this nation. Don't you think so? Anyway, I would grow up and working in remote places in the future, who knows but I am game for it, but as it is now, I want to enjoy exploring this city.. Adeeb, you wanna come with me boy? Adeeb, says, err.. which part, the Betong part or the .. cut the crap Adeeb, lets gooo!!

I suggested to babah that we stay in a hotel so that we have more time to spend there. Through www.agoda.com we found out that there is a budget hotel, that we have not heard of, with new amenities, located at Bukit Bintang area and it's called Sky Hotel. It offered great price if booking is made through agoda. So on the 6th day of February we went to KL for the city outing, we left home early as we plan to visit KL Tower before we check into the hotel. I've been dreaming to visit the tower, to see what it is like looking at the city from more than 100 meters above..

Wow.. it's the tallest telecommunication tower in the world? How come babah didn't know that? Babah said only 0.00000000001% of the world population aware of that, so he is in the majority side.. hehe after all, it is very hard to stay as the tallest, people all around the world built buildings and towers just about everyday, you maybe the tallest today, but tomorrow you may not. Just like me and Adeeb, I maybe taller than him now, but he will outgrow me for sure, right mama?
There are actually other activities to do other than climbing 125 meters tower on the elevator and watch buildings from the observation deck, but being a cheapo he is, babah didn't listen to me and Adeeb request to see Animal Zone and to try out F1 simulator.. grrrrr

Instead he treated us to this boring pony ride. Just kidding, anyway, thanks babah.. I love ponies and this was my dream came true as well, the queue was not long, unfortunately so was the ride, probably about 5 minutes ride circling the tower and the weather was hot.. and it wasn't fun, the management have to think of something to make the ride more fun, the driver, for example, if I can call him a driver, should be more friendly, he didn't utter a single word, ok maybe one or two, but it should be more than just a ride, it should be a session to explain and give information about the tower or anything, as long as it's not politics.. Adeeb said : you are right kakak.. , now finally Adeeb has something he could agree with me hehe..

After that we went to the hotel right on time for check in about 2 pm. The room is comfy, it has large bed and beautifully designed bathroom, but beware because the wall is made of glass and if you shower in nude, errr like me, you won't feel comfortable.. hehe I have not much complaint except that the airconditioning was poor, as we have to change room due to leakage aircond unit and the replacement room was not cold enough.. and the almost non-existence lobby, but the security personel are super nice though..
After check in, we went out walking along the Jalan Bukit Bintang, so many things to see there especially at night, and we ended up window shopping at the Pavillion
My first beary experience, bears were everywhere.. from around the globe, our bear was painted by cartoonist Imuda, a veteran artist only mama and babah knows hehe..
but inside the Pavillion we finally found what we looking for, a GAP store and we ended up buying GAP jeans for the four of us.. thanks mama!
I can't recall the name of the store, it could be Marvel Comic or something and me and Adeeb had fun inside the store, we buy nothing though. Marvel certainly doesn't sell Ultraman and Barbies, right Adeeb?
After that, we had our early dinner at the nearest Nando's in Bukit Bintang, as usual they will forget that we ordered desserts, hmmm.. it happens at all Nando's, I wonder why, I guess they need to include this in their training materials for staff
The hotel doesn't serve breakfast, I couldn't recall if they have restaurant, but hey there are plenty of good restaurants around. But that didn't mean that we eat at any of them, babah brought something last night when he went shopping alone around the Bukit Bintang Walk, so we ate inside. We checked out of the hotel early as we will be heading to Berjaya Times Square after that. You know, Times Square Theme Park.. I just couldn't wait!
We got to ride on almost everything available for us kids with certain age and height, that would mean, 6, 7 rides? We paid so much for so little fun.. pity mama who paid for the entrance.. right mama?
After about 2 hours inside the theme park, we headed for lunch at the Rasa Utara Restaurant. A nice restaurant that serves great food, you really have to try the next time you are here. I love daging salai the most.. hmm yummmyy! We returned to the car after that.. I couldn't remember the journey home, we were all tired and with full stomach, all I can think of is, it was a dreamy drive home.. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
