Congratulations mama & babah! On your 6th anniversary..

BBQ at Tanjung Batu

Since nekwan, kak sharina, bg joe, mak su and feyfey were here.. so we had enough people for a BBQ at Tg Batu. If it is only 3 of us, we'll definately feel out of place cos Tg Batu is a big place with lots of people and stuff. The situation would be like this: babah starts the fire and fail cos he forgot to bring firestarter and it's windy, mama doing her longface, and me crying.. it would be disastrous hehehe..

So for this BBQ, babah prepared the sauce and nekwan fried bihun and mama bought tidbits. Abg Joe was given the task to cook 'sotong pok'.. you know, bakar first and then 'pok' with lesung batu.. kak sharina will look after me. It turned out that we arrived late at Tg Batu and all BBQ spots were already taken.. so we took a spot near the tanjung, luckily nekwan insisted on bringing the tikar mengkuang..

Hari Raya Qurban

This year's Qurban was merrier.. Nekwan, Kak Sharina & Abg Joe joined us for the celebration. Kak Sharina & Abg Joe came for a holiday, and ended up staying with us for a month. Nekwan came a little later, a day before raya. So we had rendang and kuah sate this year.. yummmyyy!

For qurban this year, mama paid for my Aqiqah.. 1/7 of the share of a cattle. It was a small cattle according to babah and Abg Joe who was there to witness the qurban. Babah said he should've brought along a knife with him as everybody had one, but I wonder what babah would do with it.. :-). The slaughtered 3 cattle this year as compared to only one cattle the last time mama and babah joined the qurban 2 years ago.



























So we took part of the share and went to mama Rina home to give the meat to them. Afterwards we went to Bintulu Waterfront for sightseeing..

Happy B'day Mama..

Ma's birthday was on Nov 20th but we celebrated later on 22nd as babah was still in Miri. I just couldn't wait to destroy the cake.. hehe

Hari Raya..

With kak wawa, wani and kak qis.. to be honest, i was a bit scared, like they are all gonna bully me or something.. so i kept my cool, and smile for the camera..

At andak's home.. as you would have noticed, i was crying but, stopped soon after, i was hungryy.. it's raya but i didn't get to eat any of all those hari raya food..

Malam Raya

I was hoping for a bambamboom! malam raya. Sadly it was hmmmmhh.. quiet. Babah told me that when he was a kid, they used to play bedil or meriam buluh. I heard it was fun, it is dangerous to play bedil.. but it sure was fun especially if they did not get caught or lost their eyes or arms :-)) so what happened on malam raya, anjang Is and family had sungkei at nekwan's, and after that kak neesa, harith, haikal & zimin lighted up some 'bunga api', after a few minutes it was all over. but i enjoyed watching especially in babah's arms, telling me stories of his childhood stories, what he used to do in the old days.. huckleberryfinn-like adventures.. i went.. really babah ? really? zzzzzzz..

Raya Fever

Soon after.. mama decided that we should have our final raya shopping in the afternoon. The last three days of Ramadhan, ma was busy making kuih raya and biscuits with mak su and she didn't have time to look for new shoes. So babah had to drive us to theSpring (again!) but babah ended up the one with the most raya goodies! His new jeans and shoes.. oh mi god! knowing babah, he won't settle for anything less than a buttonfly jeans but i was surprised with his choice of.. air-wair??

It's 30th of Ramadhan, and I'm getting raya fever, i mean literally. I am having a bad cough, flu and fever. Mama is worried that my temp shot up, so she decided that we went to Family Clinic at Desa Ilmu this morning b'cos we 'gambih' at maknek place last night. Turn out that the doc was so nice to me.. Hope it won't be long, coz it's raya tomorrow and when ma & babah brought me to theSpring later in the afternoon, hey.. I felt okayy.. When we got back at nek wan's, cousin feyfey was wearing a koolfever on her head. pity her..

Saturday.. 27 Ramadhan, at TopSpot, me and feyfey were not allowed entry.. cos we brought in outside food, our syusyu..

A Cat InThe Sky - Borneo International Kite Fest 2008

The bears, the sotongs.. jellyfishes.. all type of kites, this is not something we can see everyday, mama said.. so i followed mama & babah to the fest, for the first time.. but babah said there were not much different from last year

Wow, of all the kites.. thousands of them, I like this one better, not one of babah fav, cause he like the 'sponge-bob'. Babah said they must have had inflated it with hidrogen, or how on earth that five meter cat could take to the sky? and I told babah, the sponge-bob kite can't fly, they should inflate it with hidrogen too.. :=)

can't wait to celebrate my first Raya

Hi.. I can't wait to celebrate my very first raya, mama & babah said it's not that great, other than showing off new baju raya, there's nothing much, it was much fun when they were kids they said, well.. i'm barely 5-month, so i bet i'm gonna have lotsa fun!!
