Luncheon @ Equatorial Bangi

The day before nekki & nekwan left Kajang, we had lunch at our fav eatery, Equatorial Bangi. We've been eating here for a countless number of times (ok I'm exaggerating a little bit hehe) and mama claimed this is the best hotel restaurant in town...okla ma, if you say so ;)

It offers a wide range of delicious cuisines I tell you, though the menu is more or less the same every time we went there...but who cares rite, as you cant possibly try out every thing at a single time, and you have to come again next time, and again and againnn ;))) errr actually I love the idea of coming here often as I never get bored with hotel food...okay I know they dont always serve cereal like coco crunch & honey star that I love so much but all the sugary stuff will do to make up for the absence...

nekwan made me finish every meal that she didnt manage to finish on her own, and I had no choice but to throw up to stop her from feeding me huhuhu...nekwan nekwan, I may have eyes bigger than my stomach, and thats it! Dont worry nekwan, we don't have to pay fine for the unfinished food, this is not Hartz Chicken Buffet la ;)

Cameron Highlands ~ a trip to remember

I heard a lot about this place, but to be honest I just couldn't imagine how this trip to Cameron will turn out but I was still excited nevertheless. Babah came just a few days after nekwan and nek aki arrived from Kuching. Without wasting much time he drove us all to Cameron Highlands the next day.. none of us have been there, except mama and err.. nek aki, if his story of his adventure on foot during his days fighting communists were true, and that left babah, nekwan, adeeb and me, and how on earth would you think adeeb and me have been there if babah wasn't. Emm.. what is this argument has to do with our trip? Oh well, because none of us can estimate the journey time.. We left around 9 am and reached there almost 3 pm! I thought it's like going to Ikea!

One thing was already proven true.. it was soooo cold!! believe me, I was like you who thought how much colder could it be, it's still tropical Malaysia and the fact that we are about 4000 feet above sea level would meant that we are nearer to sun and it should be hotter! I was proven wrong the first day especially in the hotel (it's hotter outside though). Who need aircond when the temp is already cold?

and that explain why strawberry is in abundance.. we visited one of the farm but unfortunately it was not a self-plucking farm.. but it's owkay.. because I don't really like 'em anyway, unless they are dried and soaked  in chocolate ... hmmm yummyy!!!

and it is strange though that tea trees are everywhere! why they only grow on highlands are out of my intelligence.. hehe ( babah also couldn't answer and he said if he is to answer because of the weather, it's too easy)

newayyy.. the trip was lots of fun! the first day was spent visiting the night market, it was a great place especially if you are looking for souvenirs and food..

the second day was spent visiting the tea plantation.. these pics were taken at Cameron Bharat Tea Plantation, if I get the name right, they produce Cameronian Valley Tea. I'm sorry I haven't heard of it too..

and this was what happened after I said to babah that I'd like to stay and work at the tea plantation.. hehe.. he was : no way girl.. you will grow up to be a doctor!

Adeeb's Second Bestday

One day before adeeb's second birthday, mama prepared some birthday goodies for us to bring at school. It reminds me of my second birthday back in bintulu, we celebrated it earlier with babah in miri then later at my former kindy with all my friends and teachers

on adeeb's birthday, the kindy was closed as our teachers had their annual teacher's day trip to kuching...oh my, it was some kinda a bless in disguise coz mama decided to bring us out with auntie vee...tell me how many times would mama willing to take us out without babah? so mama warned us to be good and stay out of trouble, woccay boss!

we dressed in our best outfit and headed to alamanda putrajaya. first, we had lunch at burger king and for a while we managed to stay good until we saw the kiddie riders...we couldn't hold any longer, not even to finish the chicken nuggets that mama had ordered

auntie vee let us play this thing, and we never had enough...mama dragged us to the toy'r'us and promised adeeb that he can choose the birthday gift, watever his heart desires...wowww, I helped adeeb to choose and being so greedy, mama chose the birthday gift herself. ala mama, this is not cool at all :(

mama bought adeeb and errr me bag packs, wat the heck! she said from now on, she would buy us something practical for our birthday gifts huhuhu... but the best part was, mama ended up buying a backpack (a pull along one) for adeeb, and errr two bags and a doll play set for me *yeeehaaa* I was in cloud nine hehehe, don't get mad ok brader, your birthday is mine too hehehe and don't forget, you got that ben 10 scooter for your advanced birthday gift from anjang

to keep my promise to mama, I let adeeb joined me playing my new doll playset, and surprisingly he enjoyed it hehehe adeeb adeeb
and finally, this is wat babah gave adeeb...babah, you must be joking, a flat screen tv???
