I heard a lot about this place, but to be honest I just couldn't imagine how this trip to Cameron will turn out but I was still excited nevertheless. Babah came just a few days after nekwan and nek aki arrived from Kuching. Without wasting much time he drove us all to Cameron Highlands the next day.. none of us have been there, except mama and err.. nek aki, if his story of his adventure on foot during his days fighting communists were true, and that left babah, nekwan, adeeb and me, and how on earth would you think adeeb and me have been there if babah wasn't. Emm.. what is this argument has to do with our trip? Oh well, because none of us can estimate the journey time.. We left around 9 am and reached there almost 3 pm! I thought it's like going to Ikea!

One thing was already proven true.. it was soooo cold!! believe me, I was like you who thought how much colder could it be, it's still tropical Malaysia and the fact that we are about 4000 feet above sea level would meant that we are nearer to sun and it should be hotter! I was proven wrong the first day especially in the hotel (it's hotter outside though). Who need aircond when the temp is already cold?

and that explain why strawberry is in abundance.. we visited one of the farm but unfortunately it was not a self-plucking farm.. but it's owkay.. because I don't really like 'em anyway, unless they are dried and soaked in chocolate ... hmmm yummyy!!!

and it is strange though that tea trees are everywhere! why they only grow on highlands are out of my intelligence.. hehe ( babah also couldn't answer and he said if he is to answer because of the weather, it's too easy)

newayyy.. the trip was lots of fun! the first day was spent visiting the night market, it was a great place especially if you are looking for souvenirs and food..

the second day was spent visiting the tea plantation.. these pics were taken at Cameron Bharat Tea Plantation, if I get the name right, they produce Cameronian Valley Tea. I'm sorry I haven't heard of it too..

and this was what happened after I said to babah that I'd like to stay and work at the tea plantation.. hehe.. he was : no way girl.. you will grow up to be a doctor!
