Holidaze in Miri

Mama woke me up early this morning.. I swear, I didn't know we are going to Miri today. But it was a nice surprise really.. I get to see babah, stay in his rented house, sightseeing, window shopping etc. Ma said, my 'school' will be closed for 2 days, so mama took leaves and decided to use our MAS open-tickets she purchased earlier.

When me & mama reached Miri Airport, babah already there waited at the cafe.. mama asked me to run to babah there while she waited for our bags..

it was hazy in Miri the day we arrived, it got worse in the days after.. Kuala Baram area is still burning till now.. I thought someone might have had burnt it on purpose, babah said while driving pass Suai area last night, he had to slow down his car, couldn't see a thing he said..

that night, we went to Bintang Megamall.. Miri's largest shopping mall. But the guys from under-construction Merdeka Mall said they will take over the title by end of this year.. whatever lahh.. coz I'm more interested to go to Toys 'R Us nothing much to see here.. mama won't let me have them anyway..

not to be missed is.. Petroleum Museum, on top of Canada Hill, overlooking Miri City, we could also see oil platform from the hill. The museum building is beautifully designed.. and this is The Grand Old Lady of Miri, the first oil drill in Miri was using this old grandma..

and this must be the grand old men of oil rigs.. gotta go, they are not that friendly..

before we return to Bintulu.. babah brought me here.. to take pic with Crocs Farm mascot. Outside! babah said he didn't want to go inside because the crocodiles stinks
